I hear you loud & clear LifeIsCruel...my twin girls work and go to college. They each make more than I do and the one paid for a health plan last year and the other said to hell with them. Now she's angry about the penalty.
I see both my girls paying for college, working hard, getting scholarships and then this BS because at their young age they might need medical attention. UGH
The one told me this morning that it's better to go to the community clinic for an ear infection or uti and pay according to income. I'm letting them decide what to do. I know the one will cry and moan about the penalty, and I feel for her, but that's the reality.
I make less than $11,000 a year so I'm covered, but sure pissed about what this is doing to them.
