Some can handle periodic use, I cannot. One smoke leads to a few then half a pack....its during really stressful times that people smoke more.
So, don't establish a smoking routine / don't let it change your current use of healthy coping skills.
But honestly, having smoked for years, I love it..I just can't handle it. So I don't. You might want to seriously not get started. Nicotine is addictive. You avoid getting addicted by avoiding any source of nicotine.
