Christmas day will start with fresh baked croissants. Tortiere (meat pie) for lunch and then a late evening dinner of prime rib.

Not a lot of people in the west realize this but a great many people in the world celebrate Christmas eve on Jan 6th - the Orthodox calendar is about two weeks behind. My ex-husband is Ukrainian, and hence so then are my children. I have always made a point of celebrating the 'second' Christmas to maintain their heritage.
