Not a lot of people in the west realize this but a great many people in the world celebrate Christmas eve on Jan 6th - the Orthodox calendar is about two weeks behind. My ex-husband is Ukrainian, and hence so then are my children. I have always made a point of celebrating the 'second' Christmas to maintain their heritage.
I have heard of people celebrating on Jan 6th, feast of the Epiphany. I am aware that in some countries this is when people exchange presents. I like the idea of keeping old traditions and customs alive. Merry Christmas
