I spend very little time 'normal' as I rapid cycle. This year I have spent about 4 months in total stable and the rest either hypomanic, depressed or mixed. At least I haven't gone full blown manic. Previous years I have had continuous episode after episode but Lithium seemed to stablilise me enough to enjoy 'normal' moods for a change.
