I have never had a girlfriend, but I wouldn't mind not having sex as long as I could relieve my sexual frustration through some time alone periodically. Sex with a real person has always seemed a little bit scary and disgusting to me, so I can understand how you would feel similarly. Hopefully everything continues to work with you and your boyfriend.
