My husband just swallows it. I don't know if anyone else here has had this experience but his Pdoc told him he could put HALF a tic tac under his tongue with it so the taste would be more bearable. He said it helps but it's still nasty.

Hubby takes his when he gets up. Then it knocks him out for about a 30 minute nap and he's fine the rest of the day. He said when he took it at bedtime he'd fall asleep within 30 minutes but only sleep for about 30-60 minutes then be awake for hours before he could go back to sleep.

I don't know if it matters but he's on 10 mg supposed to be twice a day but he takes both at once because Pdoc said it didn't matter as long as he got the full 20 mg dose in a day.
