I think it's slightly creepy he didn't include a note or return address. It seems passive aggressive, like what does he want from you? Whatever it is, he made it difficult for you to contact him if you wanted to. It seems selfish in a way. He's going through something and wants to drag you into it but wants to be able to say it was your idea since you will have to go out of your way to get in touch with him. IDK. I'm trying to imagine how I'd feel if an ex did that. I think my reaction would be something along the lines of "wtf."
