He worked 4 10 hr days a week in his Univ position as Director, usually in by 7AM for meetings with grad students and interns, so as to leave the clinic open hrs available for clients. Occasionally he ran an evening group for a semester. He spent one full day--9 to 9, with a couple of hours off for dinner--in his private practice, as well as 2-3 nights a week, plus Sat mornings. I always had outside phone contact available and emergency appts as needed, rarely. I saw him both at the Univ and in his private practice over the years.
