hi blarghh,
I know the feeling. my old therapist was so incompetent that the state that I live in fired his incompetent *** after they found out that he didn't have a license to practice counseling in the state of Ohio and no master's degree in community agency in counseling and his lack of experience with clients . he never scheduled me for follow up appointments with him or he never checks on his clients when they are in a crisis situation . he never gives his clients coping skills to work with in between sessions or gives them numbers to call when in a crisis situation. he never looked at his clients when they are in the room with him . he never gives his clients encouragement to help to get well . he just make me felt lost and he made my wheels spin around and around like a hamster on a wheel with no where to go .so I fired him and the two psychiatrists I had at the clinic that was very incompetent for treating their clients like dirt. I have a very good therapist who is licensed by the state of Ohio and has a master's degree in community agency in counseling . I would get another counselor of she doesn't respond to your emails .my therapist gets busy too . she has more clients than she had last year and she is the only counselor in the counseling agency that im seeing her for my counseling.
