Have you seen a good dermatologist? I had great skin throughout my teens! One exception, I have *always* blushed very easily. Very fair skin.
Then, in my early 20's, my skin took a 180-degree change. Things slowly progressed to the point where my skin looked constantly flushed, along with the bad acne. In my late 30's, a couple of dermatologists at Mayo Clinic looked me over under a bright light and quickly diagnosed me with "acne rosacea".
I got a prescription for some antibiotics as well as an acidic cream to apply very lightly to enlarged papules. I was encouraged to switch facial washing gel to Johnson & Johnson's bar soap: Purpose. I use it twice per day, morning and night. Don't sleep with make-up on ~ ever.
