I went to see a dr due to gastric issues that comes along with the twitching and stabbing pain. I had been passing gas non stop for the past week and there has been periodic sharp pains in either side of my abdomen and stomach, with some reflux. He said i might be having food poisoning or gastritis as a result of virus. He gave me some antacids and probiotics which helped with the belching but it failed to solve the problem of excessive gas production, reflux and occasional sharp or weird stabbing pain. My appetite is fine, been passing stools normally although it appears in dark brown or slightly black. Sometimes the sharp pain radiates to my left shoulder, scares the hell out of me. I really wonder what is the underlying issue and should i see the doctor again. And
