I found out taking ibuprofen with Lithium isn't good. It slows the detoxification of the used Lithium out of your body resulting in buildup to high levels and ultimately toxicity and kidney problems.

Before I discovered this I was taking a bit of Advil for an injury. I didn't understand why my lower back was aching, sometimes severely. Then I stumbled across the information...so I quit the Advil and in a few days the ache went away. Who knew? Dang psychs won't tell you these things!
