I think the poster means aspergers?

These are all really issues that you should discuss with your pdoc. What is it exactly that you hope to gain from and ADHD diagnosis? Medication? From personal experience, medication should be a last resort because there are often annoying side effects which include trouble sleeping, decreased appetite, etc. Both of which can make your body feel even more tired and stressed.

If you are not struggling academically, have you considered an ADHD or organization coach? They would be able to help you with organization, time management, etc. They would also possibly help with social skills.

As for sleep, it is possible that you might just be a night owl? I naturally have trouble falling asleep before midnight and it's extremely hard for me to get up early no matter how early I go to bed the night before. I wonder if a melatonin tablet might help you fall asleep? Once you get on a regular sleep schedule, it might be easier for you to wake up feeling rested.
