Melatonin is a natural substance that aids with sleep. That's really all I know, but I've heard that it works for a lot of people.
I've never actually heard the thing about food releasing a dopamine rush, but I guess certain foods can definitely be rewarding. When I said suppressed appetite though, I mean that when I'm on my medication, I have to force feed myself because food is SO unappealing. It's the complete opposite problem of someone who has trouble controlling their food intake - it's tricky to get enough healthy calories to keep from losing too much weight.
