It also said many smoked, many drank a shot of whiskey every night, but most were more involved in social activities than the average person. 2) They exercise more (that's a given) 3) They do more brain stimulating activities like painting, crossword puzzles, etc 4) Most had a very good sense of humor (laughter is medicine) 5) Lower levels of stress 6) a healthy body weight 7) Apparently it said centurians pop pills with caution and are more reluctant than the average person to take prescription meds (well that sucks for me, but oh well) 8) Having a scheduled, routine every day, even after retirement. (I suck at this too) 9) They sleep longer than the average person. ---And for the record, it's been shown that lithium can actually help you live longer if it doesn't destroy your insides that is, and long term lithium use prevents alzheimers and dementia.
