Hi guys
I had a fantastic weekend. We viewed plenty of different species of buck - a lot of impala, kudu and many smaller buck. There were abundant warthog but these guys really hide well and it was a challenge to find them. We got to watch them cavort, eat and even sleep. Also got to see monkeys, lots of birdlife and plenty of weird bugs (which I am mentioning on behalf of my son!)
The bitterly cold evenings were spent around a huge campfire. All our meals were prepared over the hot coals.
We slept in very comfortable and cozy tents. No lights, no electricity - the shower (thankfully with hot water), is open-air looking out into the bush!
I do have some pics of the campsite and some views but photobucket refuses to open .........
Though the hiking done was physically very demanding and I am stiff today, my batteries were nicely re-charged and I have come home feeling very content.
