It's my favorite book too!! I am tingling all over in anticipation of starting to read it again. Was going to start last night but didn't so today at lunch I will start it again for the umpteenth time. I'm looking at it from a different perspective this time too, with the aim of writing a paper about the psychology of it, which is also exciting for me. In a strange turn of character for my mother, many years ago, she remembered it was my favorite book when she came across a copy of it in an antique store and bought it for me, the copy was printed the same year the Laurence Olivier/Merle Oberon movie came out (1939). So it's really neat to be reading an old copy of it as well. Granted, not as neat as it would be to have an original from when it was actually written what in 1846 I think? But.... still neat.
Thanks for this!
