Ask your doc to order a complete blood count (CBC). Easy bruising can have to do with low red and platelet counts, too.

I have a clotting disorder and I bruise at the drop of a hat -- you might also ask for some tests for those. There are a variety of them, but usually can test for all on one blood draw.
