I don't like new years eve. I spent midnight stood watching fireworks on the TV and feeling more lonely than I have in a while. It's not that I wanted to party, I'm past that now, but just to have someone to have in the room and give me a hug. My daughter was fast asleep in bed and all my friends were with their friends and family. I normally don't make a big deal of it but this year the whole Christmas period has been so hard. I'm glad things can finally get back to normal.
