Hi scaredycat, welcome to PC! I really couldn't tell you, but I experience moments like that depending on the trigger or moment it happens. When it hits me fast and hard and at the worst possible time like when I'm upside down and busy, my anxiety starts to peak towards panic. Even when I feel overstimulated, it's more than what my senses could handle which gets me nervy, also. But there are times that I feel like I entered a cuddly bubble and not have any negative reactions that I feel fine. These I don't mind because the others leave me frazzled.
