Hello. If you are having trouble with your school work because of your MI, you should try to get an appointment with the disability department at your university. I have managed to get an IEP in school to help with my MIs. It seems to help a lot. I feel like I would have crashed if I didn't get it when I did.
But anyways, that is my advice. The answer to your question is I have trouble focusing too. I need to take breaks to help with concentration. To tell the difference, it's usually based off what symptoms I am having. If I am thinking about things related to anxiety, it's my anxiety disorders. If it's about the homework, the homework is hard. If it's a mixture, it's anxiety. That's my example though. It may be different for you. Hope this helps [emoji3].
