There is a very good chance they will diminish with time until they no longer create anxiety. I'm guessing they are more noticeable as your anxiety level increases? I'm not really sure of their relationship... anxiety and intrusive/unwanted/disturbing thoughts. I do know they have a relationship though Some of them are probably real/true thoughts from deep within us... we are humans after all. Some of them seem to be just some perverse crossed wires thing. I can tell you that I rarely have them anymore. Do they frighten you? Make you think you're crazy or bad?
