Many years ago I drove 15 minutes to work. I'm familiar with the close proximity affects, and how nice it is to live close. I did so for years. But the housing space is much bigger, I work off peak rush hours so traffic isn't that awful. Really debating between the two places.

But her abrasiveness is a turn off for sure.
