I know a lot of medications list memory loss or confusion as a possible side effect, but tonight I started thinking more about it. . .
I mean, my memory hasn't been the best lately but I never put much thought into it until recently.
I listened to a story (not on this site) of a girl who was on medication for depression and anxiety since she was little but said she went off of it in her early 20's because she was scared of the long term effects it would have on her memory. She had already experienced some loss of memories and was afraid it would get worse.

I know I'm a paranoid person, it's nothing new, but this has just got me wondering.
Should we be more concerned about the long term effects medication could have on our memory?
