Oh. Well that would matter then. That's too bad since it seemed to help but good if I could cause harm.
I'm still waiting to do the genetic test as part of a clinical trial (I've actually done it but in one step of the trial and that step you don't get the results so I need to do step 2 and then i get results but step 2 hasn't opened yet. And I really want to help the trial because it's a different approach to the testing that is much cheaper and has some extra benefits to it or something so I am waiting. I'm kind of sad that we won't know what my extremely high dose Seroquel was doing but that's ok). So I don't know how it all works.
I hope your pdoc has an idea that works really well for you. Until I went on my MAOI and my Seroquel dose was adjusted to help counter the stimulation from the MAOI I'd never in my life slept well, no matter what drug I took. Remeron helped but I needed higher doses for AD so it wasn't as sedating for sleep. Other things helped for a few days or weeks. The balance I finally got from those 2 drugs was amazing and I had a year or two that sleep wasn't a problem. Then it was again and we've never come close to helping it since. Maybe clozaril.....
