the brain is an amazing thing. Just about everyone I know has some memories of things that are not real. you see sometimes memories are not literally what happened. a memory can be about how we were feeling about some thing related or not with the content of that memory...

let me show you what I mean...

one day I remembered going some place I have never been to. that memory felt so real. but then when working with my treatment provider and looking through my life, family and friends I discovered I had never gone there, ...but... the feelings\emotions that memory contained were very real and a part of my real life.

memories can also not be real but be metaphors for something. example I had this one memory of standing around bouncing a ball. never happened but bouncing that ball was a metaphor for my life at that time bouncing around in the foster care system while by parents and caseworker prosecuted my abusers.

my suggestion would be contacting your or a treatment provider in your off computer location. they can help you to sort out these false memories and find out why you \your brain is causing your brain to create false memories.
