they are cut different. if you are curvy (have hips) then you probably will want your jeans to be cut so that they sit on your hips.

t-shirts can be a bit variable, too. i find that if i get guys cut t-shirts they are okay across my chest but fairly tight across the hips. i used to wear unisex clothes before hitting puberty. then once the curves emerged i changed to buying female versions of unisex clothes.

the one thing that i LOVE that is more of a guys thing (though doesn't have to be, i guess) is guys shoes. skate shoes and doc martins in particular. i have wide feet and guys shoes (because they are wider) make my feet look all cute and small whereas if i wear female shoes that are narrower they appear longer. lol.
