I think english is funny because everyone uses it differently. I was talking to a pdoc who wasn';t native to my country and I said i take my meds at tea, meaning I take my meds with my evening meal he had to have the mental health nurse interpret. I am unusal in this as most people here say dinner but because of my British background I say things a little differently. I borrow words from British english, lowlands Scots and some Cornish words which were all used in my household growing up.
