I'm not phobic, but pretty darned close to it. I'm not a big fan of rodents and reptiles. I think it stems from growing up in an area where lizards were everywhere. You'd think that would be something that you would get used to, but for me, I never liked the things. They always had a way of showing up right when you weren't expecting it and scaring the tar out of me. Could be from the time when one jumped on my leg when I was little. My middle sister was exactly the same way.

My T truly is phobic of snakes. He couldn't even look at pictures of them until about 10 years ago. He has some great stories about his snake encounters. He believes his phobia started with a chance encounter with an alligator on the river when he was little and manifested itself with snakes.
