I used to want to sit in the floor sometimes with my previous T. She was very experiential I guess you could say, and I often went to women's workshops where we sat in the floor in a circle, etc. I think it was just a hold-over from those. It wasn't every week, but sometimes I'd ask and she would sit in the floor with me and we talked like always.

With my current T, I don't sit in the floor (haven't thought about it actually), but I'm a lot smaller now (have lost a substantial amount of weight), and so I'm able to curl up in my seat (it's sort of like a big comfy chair & a half). I usually take my shoes off and end up smooshed back in the corner of the chair with my feet in front of me. At my last session, I actually ended up with a charley horse in my calf from being so tense. I didn't even realize it until I went to move and got the cramp.
