If you read the bible it shows God arguing with Satan over Job. God allowed some evil but used it for good. He did not create evil, Satan rebelled and that was evil. We have free will and are willing to be evil. This free will is so we can choose. I know my bible so I know what Im talking about.
God is Good.
Proverbs 16-16"How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver!"
Choose understanding and read your bible!

If God is using evil part of the time, you can't really say he's always good. He moonlights a little on the side, but for his own good reasons.
I don't think we can compare ourselves to God and Satan, because there's no guarantee our reasons are good (we're only human). We can only compare our behavior, actions and reactions in life to either side - good or bad.
Am I correct in assuming you live out your life in accordance to whose path you happen to be following at the time (every step you take in life) - i.e., good versus bad = God versus Satan?
Am I correct in assuming good things are like following the Ten Commandments are a Godly path, while bad things like not following them equal a Satanic path?
