Technigal, I haven't tried threading yet, but it doesn't seem that much different from other normal hair removal methods.
And Pinkflower17, they got my bloods checked but there were no increased hormones or anything. I also don't have PCOS.The doctor said it's because my hair follicles are just more sensitive to androgens. So now I'm on the pill and anti-androgens but I still have hair in weird places, it didn't get rid of it. I've been taking them for like 5 years or so now, but I'm scared that if I stop, that I will get even more hair than I already have in those places because it probably does diminish it to some extent, even though it's not completely gone. I've done laser too for my face, but it didn't get rid of everything either. And I grew new hairs too so I doubt that it will ever be something that's permanent or really works for me.
My mom's a bit hairier too, but not to the extent that I am, so there is probably some genetics involved too.
