I have post it notes scattered about so I can write things down....then misplace the notes! I find my Ipad is great for keep appointment as it has reminders.
Mornings are the worse.

A lot of the time, people are forgetting about things, especially misplacing items, because their mind is thinking about something else.
Although difficult, i have found that if you try to focus on the moment, and no think about all the things you need to do (or whatever) you find yourself focusing on where you left things etc.
Try it if possible, and see how you improve...
