Aviza, i sympathize with you. I filed for disability yet had to live with both parents. I had no privacy and was expected to take care of dad with alzheimers and mom with dementia. It was a bad situation but my disability came through and so did my housing. I am still in the subsidized housing. Even this has its draw backs. People are people and love the drama, meddling, gossip and causing trouble. You just have to learn to stay to yourself, come and go and create your own type of life, no matter where you live. It was stressful with my parents. Now it is stressful with many people who are opportunists who always have their hands out. The demand can be draining that all people put on you. Define your boundaries and stick to them. Get a lock and put it on your door when you are home. And lock your stuff up when you are out for the day. It is that simple. Get a post office box if the mail is delivered and you don't want it to be. There are many ways of creating your boundaries that they have to respect. And this can keep ones sanity until you do move. Blessings and tc
