In her defense guys it's not true you have to "cycle till u die" many many ppl go on lithium and remain episode free the rest of their life. Some ppl stay off meds and only cycle +5 years at a Time in between episodes
It holds no value to think u will always be sick and I think it even becomes a crutch for some ppl
That being said many ppl can't stop meds cycle on meds cycle in and out of hospital. Some never DO get better.....the list goes on. Bipolar is different for everyone
But staying positive (and I struggle with this) is a good idea!
