Very true Little Cat,
Over the years, my intrusive thoughts have become less powerful. They only seem to gain strength at certain times of the year....Christmas holidays for example or when something else triggers them. Sometimes it will be a dream or a song or movie. If I'm out of sorts, who knows what might pop into my head. Sometimes feels like a cage of flying monkeys.
