Just had to chime in here.
People say ADHD is overly diagnosed but for every kid out there that has been labeled there are others who have not.
I WISH I had been diagnosed. Medication might have kept me on the right path.
First grade I got in trouble for blurting out the answers without raising my hand. I was in "gifted" classes through 8th grade. Put into H.S. honors classes, but this is when my brain was actually forced to WORK and I didn't have the capability for it. It got hard, required an attention I didn't have and so I stopped going. Fvcked up my life immensely after that so I don't knock the supposed rambunctious boy but that's just me. Who happens to be drinking right now, lol.
