I'm hoping my T is not like a dentist or doc (T's been in practice 30+ years), but I wonder if my demeanor when talking about the hard things are misconstrued by my T. I tend to 'report' things that happen(ed) like a book review. My clinical way of dealing with feelings might keep my T at arm's length when, in fact, I so want a hug when tears well up in my eyes and I can't find my voice to continue.
