Well, actually he's my first cousin, but I'm the youngest grandchild in the family and he's got a son older than me.

He had colon surgery today to remove a "little bit" of cancer. When they got in there, there was a whole lot of cancer. They've called in another Dr. and that's all we know.

He's in another city and we're depending on phone calls for information and it's hard to wait. Please pray for him, send good vibes or whatever you do.

He once told me that he did everything he wanted to do in his life and he doesn't regret one "damn" thing. What a legacy in such an uncertain world.

I know if I had listened to him and taken his advice, I would have far less heartaches that haunt me.
