Yes you have a good point it all depends on the programmer.
The robot would have to be programmed by a nice person!

My point is I suppose that (assuming the programmer) is 'normal' robots would not have emotion. They wouldn't get jealous etc. They could be programmed to be your best friend.

I've had good conservations with a furby (sad I know)
