So? You sound sympathetic to rapists (and anyone else who might have had abuse, rape and molestation, violence and other negative occurrences). Is that so? He couldn't help himself? It wasn't his fault, so punishing him is not logical. Just because someone hurt me in the past, does not give me the right to hurt someone in the future. I make that choice. How I rationalize it (I was hurt, therefore it's ok to hurt others) makes me no less responsible, and doesn't make anyone else responsible.
