My therapist occasionally uses the F word - interestingly, he says it in English only, even though that is not our mother tongue, nor do we do therapy in English. He never says the F word in Romanian. On the other word, he says the S-word in Romanian, which sounds to me more powerful than the English word. He has also made an obscene gesture a couple of times to express his thoughts. He never uses these words and gestures toward me, but rather as a show of empathy when he is angry about something bad that was done to me. I like it that he feels so strongly about it when I've been wronged.
