There's no good way to discontinue pristiq! With the lowest dose being 50mg XR & that also being the therapeutic dose. I swapped to prozac with no days of missed meds with minimal concern. & really haven't noticed discontinuing 49mg Prozac cold turkey. Prozac is often used to help discontinue those more difficult ssri/snri's to cease. Just a thought for the future.
