To the OP: Are you talking to anyone about the difficulties you feel with always trying to be the one who "jumps in" and saves the day? Sounds like you're pretyy frustrated with the way that makes you feel, and it's likely slopping over into how you perceive the actions of the folk around you. is there a counselor or someone you could discuss this with?
