I did not take Adderall but I did take Vyvanse. I do not have ADD, just Bipolar. My pdoc prescribed it when I couldn't get off of the couch so I could properly care for my toddler and well, function. It did give me energy but did not help with the depression and did not cause mania. However, when I became manic while taking it, I still took it to keep me high and I think I knew what it was doing. I did, however, tell my pdoc who had me stop taking it. I still have about half a bottle full but I am avoiding it.

I, like, Ocean Swimmer was on both uppers and downers which made absolutely no sense and there was no way of knowing what drug was doing what.
