(Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, I'm new)

I read somewhere in the rules that threads posted by new members have to be reviewed by moderators before they are shown. Is this a permanent thing, or is it lifted after the member has been here for a while? I accidentally submitted a thread that I wasn't done typing-normally I would just edit it, but I don't know what I'm supposed to do here (contact a mod??). Reason I ask is because it would seem to get a bit frustrating if something like this happened in the future.
