My T writes quite a lot during therapy. As odd as it may sound, I'm somewhat comforted by that, feeling that he's paying attention to what I say and what I'm feeling. S/he notices changes in my facial expressions/body language immediately, asks me what's going on and may write a note about my response. I'm not saying T writes constantly...there's a lot of face-to-face/eye contact. Of course, I'm only six months in w/this T, so it could be T is still evaluating me for a dx.
