The biggest reason I hate snow is that my old dog gets depressed when he doesn't get to go on a walk (even though we have a huge fenced yard) and if I do try to take him on a walk = he gets ice balls between his toes and I have had to carry him back home more times than I can count (and he weighs around 65 pounds). The snowboot experiment was a failure of stunning proportion.
