You might need to have a serious chat with her Growly. She probably doesn't understand what so-stressed-out-you've-shut-down looks like. Chances are a firm discussion with her might earn you the respect you deserve too. One thing I've learned over my years in this country is that people here have a lot of respect for what would be regarded as being pushy at home.
